I've decided to begin work on an 100 Theme Challenge. If you would care to see the actual challenge it can be found here: [link]
This piece is Theme #5 on the list. I originally had planned on doing another challenge but decided to switch as I was getting close to finishing this piece. Luckily both have the magical girl theme.
The piece was completed over the past 4 weeks of on and off effort. Unfortunately, I have no clue how long I took on the piece. The actual amount of painting time probably was no more than 20 hours, but I can't tell you how many hours I sat staring at it trying to figure out what I wanted to do next. XD
Done completely in Photoshop CS3 with an Intuos 4 tablet. Bark textures were free from the web.
